Programs
The Institute of Medical Aesthetics currently offers two programs for those looking to advance their careers in the beauty, aesthetic, and cosmetic industries.
Medical Aesthetics
The Medical Aesthetics program is designed for students who wish to pursue careers in the analysis, treatment, and maintenance of skin and conditions. The program emphasizes practical skills based on fundamental core esthetic knowledge along with a medical background. Students will analyze the needs of the skin and determine various forms of treatments, as well as learn the skills needed to successfully find employment in the field.
Aesthetic Lasers
The aesthetic Lasers program is designed for students who wish to pursue careers in the treatment and maintenance of skin and conditions through the use of lasers and other light therapies. The program emphasizes practical skills based on fundamental core esthetic knowledge along with a medical background. Students will analyze the needs of the skin and determine which lasers and treatments are appropriate. This course expects students to spend a few more hours a week to accomplish online school work before the lab.
Combination Program
The Combination program is designed to ensure students have the best of both worlds! Combining Medical Aesthetics and Aesthetic Lasers provides students the most comprehensive education possible in this incredibly competitive field. The program emphasizes practical skills like dermaplaning, microneedling, laser and light therapy treatments, and more based on fundamental core esthetic and medical knowledge.
