Admissions & Requirements

The Institute of Medical Aesthetics is a continuing education, diploma program for estheticians, medical assistants, nurses, and physicians looking to grow their careers in the field of medical aesthetics. The first step of the admissions process is submitting your application. An applicant must meet certain verifiable criteria to be considered for the admission process. This criterion, outlined below, includes licensure and an online learning assessment.

In all cases, IOMA faculty and staff administer its admissions, educational services, and support services in a manner that does not discriminate by race, religion, age, national origin, sexual orientation, or disability.

Programs Begin Every 8 Weeks

We understand that many of our students have work, family, and lives outside of school so we built our programs to be accessible. Our programs are asynchronous so that you can work at your own pace!

Our Medical Aesthetics Program is entirely online. The Aesthetic Lasers and Combination Programs are mostly online with the exception of the last week. For the last week of these two programs, you will come to our campus and get 40 hours of hands-on training.
