Programs

Unlock your potential in the beauty and aesthetics industry with The Institute of Medical Aesthetics’s five specialized programs designed to advance your skills, expand your clinical knowledge, and support your growth in today’s evolving medical aesthetics industry. Students may enroll in one program or combine multiple programs to customize their education and broaden their hands-on training across a variety of aesthetic specialties.

Diploma Programs

Our diploma programs offer comprehensive education for students pursuing a strong academic and clinical foundation in the field of Medical Aesthetics.

Approved through the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Licensed Schools, these programs are designed to provide in-depth training with a focus on science, safety, treatment theory, and real-world application.

Students can expect a structured curriculum with defined academic requirements, guided instruction, and a clear educational pathway built for long-term success in the industry.

Ideal for students seeking a comprehensive educational experience and a deeper understanding of Medical Aesthetics.

Certificate Programs

Our certificate programs provide focused education in specialized treatment areas for professionals looking to expand their skills and continue advancing in Medical Aesthetics.

While certificate programs are not licensed through the state in the same format as diploma programs, they are developed with careful attention to state guidance, scope of practice, safety standards, and current industry best practices.

At IOMA, our certificate education is expert-led and intentionally designed to go beyond product-based training—giving students practical, meaningful education they can confidently apply in practice.

Ideal for professionals looking to add advanced services, strengthen technique, and continue building their career with specialized training.

Easily Enroll in More Than One Program

Our diploma programs provide a comprehensive education in Medical Aesthetics and Aesthetic Injectables. Students may enroll in each program individually or combine both to expand clinical knowledge and hands-on treatment skills within a medically supervised setting.

Curriculum includes advanced skin treatments, corrective modalities, injectable theory, facial anatomy, physiology, patient consultation, treatment planning, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance. Strong emphasis is placed on tissue health, facial assessment, complication recognition, documentation, and scope of practice.

This integrated pathway helps students build layered competency across both skin-focused and injectable disciplines, developing practical clinical skills supported by medical theory and structured treatment planning aligned with today’s evolving medical aesthetics industry.
