A Bit About Me

Ashlee Ludwig began her professional journey studying nursing at university, where she quickly realized that while she was drawn to the medical field, her true passion lay in finding a way to combine medicine with beauty and aesthetics. This led her to pursue advanced training in esthetics and laser technology, opening the door to a career that blends clinical expertise with artistry.

Ashlee gained extensive experience in medical spas, larger medical facilities, and plastic surgery centers, where she treated a wide variety of skin conditions and provided post-procedure care for surgical patients. Her work has always centered on achieving visible, lasting results while building strong, trusted relationships with her clients.

Her dedication and skill culminated in the opening of her own award-winning medspa, where she also served as a trainer for a national laser company, educating professionals in advanced treatment protocols. Through these experiences, Ashlee and her business partner, Jamie Garland, recognized a significant gap in accessible, compliant, and advanced education for licensed professionals in the rapidly evolving field of medical aesthetics.

Together, they co-founded the Institute of Medical Aesthetics (IOMA) with the mission to bridge the gap between traditional esthetics and medical aesthetics, delivering comprehensive, career-focused education. As Director of Education, Ashlee oversees curriculum development, state compliance, faculty training, and instructional quality, ensuring that every student graduates with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in their careers.
